Title: MT.FUJI
By: Lauren Fuessel
I learned that Mt. Fuji is located in Honshu, Japan. The last time Mt.Fuji erupted was in December 16 1707. Killing many people, at the same time as producing nutrients for planet earth. Mt.Fuji is a holy place for Japanese because they believe one of their gods used to live there. This mountain has amazing views, perfect for pictures.

Title: The Missing Link
By: Lawrence Elliot & Arvind Bala
I learned in this presentation that both Yellowstone and Hawaii were formed from "hotpots". Basically what happens is that there is a hole in the earth's crust, from which magma is coming out. Over millions of years a mountain starts forming, and as this is happening the plates are moving which let the chain continue, and form many mountains that are right next to each other.

Title: Micro Fossils
By: Rodolfo Martinez
I leaned that micro fossils are small versions of fossils which are mainly made up of bacteria and protists. A major micro fossil is called foraminifera, which make up sedimentary rocks. Micro fossils are studied under a microscope, they are very important in our economy because they help us male oil and petroleum, they are natural resources.
